Their presentations include the latest research in neuroplasticity, or brain development, which help individuals understand how to best make good habits "stick." The specialize in Generation Y and technology, preparing for the college transition, diversity training, and wellness programs. In 2008, they were invited by the National Association of Marriage and FamilyTherapists national conference, to present their research on Generation Y to over 1,500 mental health professionals.
Barbara Rhode isa Licensed Psychotherapist. She maintained a successful private practice for 15 years, and wrote a column for the St. Petersburg Times called, ÒFamily Matters.Ó Currently, she is President of Transitions and You, and offers workshops,trainings, and consulting services to organizaitons nationwide.
Barbara graduated with her Bachelors Degree from Hofstra University in New York, then went on to get her Masters in Counseling Psychology at Nova University. She received an undergraduate degree from the University of California San Diego in Psychology and obtained Masters in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from the University of San Diego.
