The Holiday Stuff Swap event will provide women with an opportunity to cheaply add to their wardrobe by swapping items that they no longer need with other women. Additionally, the event will kickoff the Holiday Inmate Gift Project, aimed at collecting holiday gifts from the public at large for female inmates at the Goodwill Correctional Facility.
Individuals are encouraged to bring gently used or new accessories, clothing, shoes, belts, and purses. Left over items will be donated to the YWCA and the Goodwill Correctional Facility. Additionally, The Story of Stuff, a 20 minute animation of the consumerist society, will be shown.
